A new seven minute slideshow is up on The You Are Here Project's website!
This week click on David and Sylvia at www.theyouarehereproject.com (see below to locate them on our map). They live with their three children near Fort Hood in Harker Heights, Texas. David was home on a two week leave from his second tour of duty in Iraq when we did this interview.
Watch and listen at: www.theyouarehereproject.com
Also, check out our Bonus Materials on the site, where we have some new audio outtakes. Ralph (from back in Topeka) talks about taking in an exhange student, and David (from this week), talks about his experiences in Iraq.
Thanks for following all the folks we met, and stay tuned for more!

We drove a shorter drive today to San Antonio, where we met with Sylvia's friend Tatiana and her twin sister, Liliana. We talked to them at Liliana's house, where Tatiana stays half the time. Tatiana is also an army wife and that's how she and Sylvia got to be friends. She and her husband, Noe, were only married two months when he was deployed to Iraq, where he is now. She's looking forward to his return, so they can set up a home of their own.
Tatiana tried really hard to find somebody for us to go to next, and she made a bunch of phone calls but everyone she knows lives east of her. We resorted to our back-up plan and called people from earlier in the chain and asked for their help finding someone west of here that they know. There's not a lot of big towns in West Texas, so it looks like our next stop is two days away in Albuquerque with friends of Brett and Sue from back in St. Louis. Now we have a couple of days to find our way up to Albuquerque and hopefully see some interesting things along the way.
