You Are Here

The You Are Here Project (www.theyouarehereproject.com) is a visual and audio documentary that features flash slide shows depicting individuals and families in their homes and hometowns across the country. Beginning with a friend of the artists in Brooklyn, NY, each subject leads us to the next, as the stories become intertwined, and we make our way towards the west coast via an unfolding social network. The project is an exploration of everyday life and the meaning of home from the east coast, across the heartland, to the Pacific. We will be back on the road with the project, and putting up new material on our blog in the summer 2006. The site will continue to be updated in the fall of 2006.
